Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for driving success in the Technology and IT Services industry? We're looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Unit Head/General Manager to join our team at Tech Era IT Consulting.

Overview: As the Business Unit Head/General Manager, you'll lead and manage all aspects of our hiring and staffing services unit specializing in the Technology and IT Services industry. You'll be responsible for driving growth, expanding market presence, and ensuring operational excellence across the India, USA, UK, and Europe regions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets for the business unit in alignment with overall company goals.
• Lead the sales and business development efforts to acquire new clients and expand the customer base in the Technology and IT Services industry.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, understanding their hiring needs, and providing tailored staffing solutions to meet their requirements.
• Manage the full lifecycle of staffing operations, including talent acquisition, recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness by implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and leveraging technology solutions.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of recruiters, account managers, and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports, financial forecasts, and business updates to senior management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, HR, and marketing teams, to support cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance visibility and reputation.

Qualifications:  

• Master’s degree in business administration – HR/Marketing or a related field. MBA with BE/B tech preferred.
• 15+ Years of experience in the IT/Staffing industry with at least 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in the hiring and staffing services industry, with a focus on the Technology and IT Services sector.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics, trends, and client needs in the India, USA, UK, and Europe regions.
• Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, and expanding market share.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and execute with precision.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, financial management, and performance metrics.
• Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience working in multiple geographies, especially India, UK, and Europe, is highly desirable.
